had ct retreat at pulau ubin earlier! and i saw my second home faraway, on an island called pulau tekong. anyway i took this shot. very nice. and it reminded me of the phrase, "the anchor of my soul".

nice, sunset off the bumber boat we took back to mainland Singapore.
anyway whilst walking the boardway at chekjava area. i had to rush off for the pri sch gathering so was walking in front, wanting to quickly finish off the sightseeing (which well, isnt really a sightseeing cause i simply just rushed through) then suddenly had the urge to slow down and appreciate the surroundings, and experience God through the nature.
then was just thinking. manytime in life, we whisk-off with our many to-dos, immersing ourselves in busyness. and we fail to slow down and stop around, to appreciate the beauty of life and enjoying the process itself. :/
its not how many things that you've done, but the quality of it. how well you do. ahh, i think 2008 was just a hectic year, doing alot of things alone. and it was just, alot of things. i felt busy. that's about it.
what an idiot i am. hahahaha.
mm and so I pray that 2009 would be different. tho' yes its still gna be busy cause of NS, but i really do want to go slow, and do it with God. yes. slowly, but doing it well. so dear Lord I want to be close to you, so i can confidently say that I'm really close to You.
okay. 5 more days.
